(I filed my claim in April.) WHY are my claims still active when they closed my account for no reason! Now I am out 500$ and Capital One will do absolutely nothing about it. I called to see if someone could help me (this is the first kind associate who has answered anything.) and they said that because I have a claim open that they cannot close my account out entirely so I cannot get a check until it has been determined and that it can take until July. The email said I would get a check within 7-10 business days and it has almost been a month now. Capital One was going to replace my card and instead, they closed my account entirely with no reason. Do NOT bank with them! I opened an claim with Capital One because Microsoft was charging my card for a subscription I had no access too and they refused to close my account.
